Valley station cable car
The starting point of the hike is the valley station of the Fichtelberg cable car. The path initially leads downhill along Hüttenbachstraße, first across the border to Loučná (Bohemian Wiesenthal). Then it continues over Nové Domky to Hofberg. You walk along street 223, enjoying a nice view of Oberwiesenthal. At the Wirbelstein ascent, you reach the highest mountain of the Ore Mountains, Keilberg. After an initially rocky descent, you hike to Boží Dar (Gottesgab). You cross the border at the New House. Past the Relaxhotel Sachsenbaude, you head over the Little Fichtelberg up to the Fichtelberg. Following the Philosophenweg, you return to the valley station.
