  • Destination: Blatensky vrch (Plattenberg)
  • 21,07 km
  • 2 hours 20 minutes

The 21 km and 450 meters of altitude difference take you from the Auersberg to the Czech Republic. Blaternsky vrch (Plattenberg) is the next destination

The route runs along the "Simmigweg and Reitsteig" past the "Sauschwemme" inn through the "Kleiner Kranichsee" nature reserve, one of the most important raised bogs in the Ore Mountains. The old toboggan run is part of the approach to Johanngeorgenstadt. Here, the Stoneman crosses the German-Czech border to Potůčky (Breitenbach, 695 m). The route follows the slightly ascending forest road along the Schwarzwasser. After the right fork in Luhy (Jungenhengst, former settlement), the direct ascent to Blatenský vrch (Plattenberg, granite massif, 1043 m) begins, which becomes quite steep towards the end.
