Discover the rather unknown 1000-meter peaks in the Fichtelberg region on this tour and start at the hotel of ski jumper and Olympic champion Jens Weißflog.
The starting and finishing point is the Jens Weißflog apartment hotel at 980 m above sea level. The tour leads through the Fichtelberg region, over forest and partly asphalted forest paths. Discover two of the Erzgebirge's lesser-known 1000-metre peaks. The Pfahlberg (1,027 m) is located right next to an upland moor. The Brandberg (1,058 m) seems almost inconspicuous. If you take the detour to the Fichtelberg, you can climb the small Fichtelberg (1,206 m) as a third 1,000-metre peak as you pass by. The summit happiness then beckons on the plateau of the Fichtelberg (1,215 m). From here to the north, you can already see the Jens Weißflog apartment hotel. Now it's almost all downhill via the Wellenschaukel and the Reitsteig to the finish.
