You leave the Greifensteine in the direction of Geyer and pass the Greifenbachstauweiher pond on your way.

Once created as a water reservoir for the mining facilities of Ehrenfriedersdorf, the pond is now a well-known local recreation area. Shortly afterwards, you reach the mining town of Geyer with the Geyersche Binge. Through extensive spruce forests, past the Black Pond, you pass Elterlein. Via Pöhla, the birthplace of ski jumping legend and Stoneman ambassador Jens Weißflog, a long climb takes you towards the Czech border. At just under 600 meters, you reach the checkpoint at the Bohemian Mill in Rittersgrün.

From the punching point on the Greifensteinen, you pass the Greifenbach reservoir (once created as a water reservoir for the mining facilities of Ehrenfriedersdorf), now a well-known local recreation area, to the mining and biking town of Geyer. Through endless spruce forests past the Schwrazen pond to Elterlein. The town's most famous daughter is the publisher and entrepreneur Barbara Uthmann, who brought lace-making to the wider world and was also the owner of the Saigerhütte in Olbernhau-Grünthal. https://de. wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbara_Uthmann

Continue along the Schwarzbach stream to Langenberg and over a short, tricky climb to Raschau Markersbach. After passing through Pöhla, the birthplace of ski jumping legend and Stoneman Messenger Jens Weißflog, the route continues directly uphill towards Rittersgrün to the checkpoint.
