Windmühlenhof - dirt road past the two ponds - slight uphill to Plattenstraße - turn right towards Dittmannsdorf - cross B 171 - at the Biela - Dittmannsdorfer Straße - Dittmannsdorfer Pond (connected by artificial ditch) - cross B 171 - starting point

From Windmühlenhof Dittmannsdorf, the path leads uphill past two ponds towards the forest edge. Through a beautiful valley cut with wetland and field margins, we reach the Plattenstraße. We keep to the right downhill and enjoy the panorama of Dittmannsdorf and surroundings. The federal road B171 is crossed, and a short distance is walked to the right. We continue downhill towards Biela and the old school. The Biela bridge is crossed, and we keep right towards the dam of the Dittmannsdorfer Pond. A detour to the artificial ditch system, its mouths, and the dam of the Dittmannsdorfer Pond is recommended.

The Freiberg water management system, protected as a technical monument, with its artificial ditch system, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Montanregion Erzgebirge.

The B171 is crossed again and we reach our starting point.
