Getting there
From Chemnitz on the B95 directly to Kätplatz. From Freiberg or Aue via the B101 to the Feldschlößchen junction, then continue on the B95 towards Oberwiesenthal. The parking lot "Kätplatz" is directly on the B95.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

With good visibility, there is an excellent view over the Ore Mountains ridge.
Worth seeing are the "Butter Barrels", basalt columns at the hiking parking lot.
