After a short introduction, you first drive from the parking lot on side streets through a residential area to get familiar with the Segway.
Then the route leads into the woodland villa district built around the beginning of the 20th century, where, among others, the traditional Hotel Café Friedrich is located. Past the woodland stage, the Hotel am Kunnerstein, and the French cemetery the way leads out of the district. Past the "Muschelminna" fairy tale fountain the trip goes up to Augustusburg Castle. Here you will enjoy great views and a short visit to the legendary castle lime tree before you treat yourself to a short break in the castle courtyard. (Possibility for snacks and WC)
Now we drive uphill into the historic old town and stop just behind the town hall for a look at the Electress Anna Garden. Then it continues over the market and later right, where we first leave the city center. Uphill, it goes along beside the street, then left and below the city. Here, to the left, you enjoy the view up to the town and castle, and to the right the wonderful landscape view. This route takes us to the other end of Augustusburg. After a loop, we go back again—the next stop is the Augustusburg leisure center Rost's Wiesen.
Then we drive past the mountain station of the cable car and via the castle path return to the historic old town to the St. Petri town church, the viewpoint "Kantors Ruh" and the Lotterhof.
Through the front and back castle courtyard, we reach the castle driveway again and down it, and with an additional round through the villa district, we come back to our starting point.
