Rübenau via Kalek Brandow (CS) to Saigerhütte Olbernhau (part of UNESCO World Heritage)

Route:

From the town center in Rübenau, the local road goes in a curve uphill towards the border crossing to Kalek (CS). Shortly after the crossing, we turn left. We follow the path which mostly runs directly along the border watercourse Natzschung. At the Lochmühle we pass another border bridge. The path winds along the Natzschung to Rothental. Shortly after entering Rothental, the path moves away from the stream. Via the connecting path Kolonie, you reach the local road of Brandow. You follow this road to the border crossing Czech Republic–Germany. Afterwards, you reach the Saigerhütte area, which has bus and train connections as well as parking facilities.
