Demanding circular route that is best mastered with an e-bike. Starting point in Görlitz/Weinhübel via Kunnerwitz to Jauernick-Buschbach, then continuing to Tauchritz and Hagenwerder before returning to Görlitz/Weinhübel.

Start for the approximately 24-kilometer-long circular route around Berzdorfer See is Weinhübel - a rural district of Görlitz. Here you can still find a historic village green, renovated half-timbered houses, and typical farmers' gardens. You continue on to Kunnerwitz. A visit to the Erlöserkirche (Schinkel) is recommended before continuing to Jauernick-Buschbach, the idyllically located "mountain village" with a unique view of Berzdorfer See. Worth seeing are the Catholic and Protestant churches. On Ascension Day, the traditional "marriage market" has taken place here for decades. The route continues via Tauchritz to Hagenwerder. Here, a paddle excavator recalls the former brown coal mining. The facility can still be visited today. Between Tauchritz and Hagenwerder, two bathing spots invite you for a refreshing break. Along the Oder-Neiße cycle path, the route leads back to Görlitz.
