The vegetation is now at its peak. Many things are blooming. But what do we encounter there along the roadside or on the meadows within and above Tharandt?

On a herb walk, you move slowly, as there is something to discover at every step or knowledge to exchange from one to the next. We climb up narrow, almost enchanted paths on the slopes on the left side of the Schloitzbach, which were laid out in the past century for the spa operations in Tharandt. From there, there are repeatedly beautiful views of the mountain church and the castle ruins. Aesthetically constructed dry stone walls accompany the path.

Once at the top, the view widens toward the spa town of Hartha and the Tharandt Forest. Join us in perceiving the nature around us more closely. The destination is Johannishöhe above Tharandt. Here, there is time for a break. Time to admire a large blooming garden, be inspired by sandstone sculptures, and thus conclude the discovery tour.
