The river experience trail shows you how the local flowing waters interact. The start is at the Rümpfwald parking lot, in front of the Forsthaus, now go left towards Glauchau. Then turn right to Niederlungwitz and follow the hiking sign „Circular route River educational trail St. Egidien“ to the left. After that, turn right onto Forststraße. After 300 m, go right, past the barrier and later the seating area at the Lungwitzbach. You pass the sports field St. Egidien. The yellow marking leads through the village, along the mill ditch and the parson's path, at the intersection Schillerstraße/Glauchauer Straße turn right uphill towards Rümpfwald. Straight ahead, past Elise Schmidt Weg, you reach the starting point Forsthaus.
