Jänkendorf/Schäferei - Lake - Sproitz - Kollm - Diehsa - Jänkendorf/Schäferei

The parking lot at the "Alte Schäferei" between Jänkendorf and Niesky is the starting point for the 20-kilometer route around Quitzdorf Reservoir. Your path leads through the idyllic protected landscape area to Sproitz. Near the fish breeding ponds of Kreba-Fisch pond farming GmbH, a small farm shop offers fresh fish products for sale. Alternatively, you can cycle over the dam to Sproitz, which offers a panoramic view over the reservoir. The KNAX adventure playground in Sproitz provides fun for young and old. The journey continues on the Frog cycle path to Kollm. Here you can fish or explore the lake by canoe.

On your route towards Diehsa, a visit to the peaceful 14th-century church in Kollm is recommended. In Diehsa, you will find a listed market ensemble that still recalls the Middle Ages today. Also worth seeing is the Gewandhaus (now the community office) with a small park as well as a bicycle church. Before returning to the starting point, a detour to the wildlife enclosure in Thrähna or to Monument Mountain in Groß Radisch is worthwhile.
