The Pumphut Trail is a well-marked circular hiking route with 8 stamp stations where you will find legend boards, viewpoints, shelters, and benches to rest.

Do you know Pumphut, the sorcerer of Upper Lusatia?

If not, then get to know him on the Wilthen Pumphut Trail. On large wooden panels, you will learn legends and interesting facts about Pumphut, and twice you will discover him as a figure.

Our Pumphut was a miller’s assistant and had great fun hiking besides his enjoyment of magic. Let yourself be "enchanted" by our beautiful homeland. The best opportunity is on our 18 km long Pumphut Trail. The total route is divided into 8 sections. The profile leads over elevations between 300 and 500 m above sea level.

Legendary stories await you. Enjoy viewpoints with wonderful views over our Upper Lusatia. Along the way, there are resting spots, benches, legend boards, but also playgrounds, a dice wall, and a "telescope".

It is an adventure hike for the whole family.

Stamp cards are available at the Wilthen Tourist Information or anytime outside opening hours in the covered display. (Access behind the tourist information at the car park near the bike stands.)

Stamp stations are located in the inns and also in stamp boxes.
