Challenging trail in the "Vogtland Switzerland" directly at the Pöhl Dam - long distance

On the constant ups and downs, you often run on narrow side paths in the nature reserves at the Pöhl Dam, in the Elster valley and in the Trieb valley. The focal point of the route is the impressive Elster valley bridge, which is crossed twice. There are few flat sections, but steep climbs and fast downhills. Outdoor enthusiasts are offered a highlight of the Vogtland here – wild romantic and challenging at the same time. The nature experience with all senses is the focus. This route is particularly suitable for trail running but also recommended for experienced hikers.
