The Vereinigte Mulde flows through the Leipzig region, past beautiful idyllic floodplain landscapes and historically significant towns such as Eilenburg and Bad Düben.
Anyone undertaking this route experiences a very original Mulde landscape. Vast river floodplains, wild cliffs and gravel gravel formations shape the picture. This route is with 30 km the longest continuous river section, you should allow 6 to 7 hours for this. The only possible resting place or landing stage is the Gruna ferry. The route ends in Bad Düben about 200 m before the road bridge (blue wonder of Bad Düben). A landing and departure point for paddlers has been set up on the right bank.
The Mulde between Eilenburg and Bad Düben is subject to a navigation ban.
