Lemberk was originally a watchtower castle on the Zittau trade route. Only the cylindrical tower has survived from the original structure; the other parts were concealed by renovations in Renaissance and Baroque styles.

Lemberk Castle:

1. Basic guided tour

On this tour, visitors are introduced to the history of the castle. It leads through the originally preserved castle Pentecost chapel, the black kitchen, the magistrate’s office, the fable hall with the coffered ceiling in Renaissance style, as well as through other Renaissance and Baroque rooms. The first guided tour shows the main part of the representative interior rooms of Lemberk.

Duration of the tour: 50 minutes

2. Extended guided tour

The extended tour is identical to the basic tour in the first part but is expanded by a visit to the small castle armory, the Liebieg rooms, and the so-called Zdislava chamber from the 17th century.

Duration of the tour: 70 minutes
