On the road by mountain bike: Börnichen -Bornwald - Heinzewald - Kalkwerk

From the Börnichen fairground we take the Dorfstraße - Försterweg - Bleiche into the Bornwald forest, to the Neunzehnhain II dam, then on to the B 101. 1080 m uphill, turn left towards Lauterbach. Through the village to the Lengefeld lime works, past the lime works and turn right after 165 m to the S 226. 315 m to the left on the S 226, turn right through the Bornwald forest to the dam wall of the Neunzehnhain I dam. Here we turn left off the road towards Wünschendorf. After a difficult ascent, once in the village, we keep left. After 90 m, turn right towards Stolzenhain. At the rest area, we turn left and arrive back at the starting point in the settlement - Dorfstraße.

If you want more trails instead of roads, turn left in Lauterbach just before the Lauterbacher company onto the hiking trail over the Lauterbacher Knochen to the Lengefeld lime works. There you return to the original route.
