Directions

This time you start from the car park of the mountain ascent, hike up the Bergstraße and soon turn left onto the square in front of the "Organ Pipes". There you can see the mighty basalt columns of Scheibenberg. On the right side is the ski jump facility where children train throughout the year. From there, you use the basalt nature trail and hike to the Ottomar-Zahm path. On this path, it goes zigzag steeply upwards until you reach the platform of Scheibenberg. On the mountain, you can climb the tower, but also use the upper circular path to enjoy the beautiful views of the Ore Mountains. The descent is via many stairs until you reach the car park again.
