The route leads from Eibenstock through the Rehmergrund to the former hammer mill village of Wildenthal at the foot of the Auersberg (1,018 m); returning through the romantic valley of the "Große Bockau"

Shortly after the start of the route, the valley of the Rehmerbach is reached, and even after leaving the town, the murmur of the brook accompanies the steadily slightly rising path. Later, on a well-developed forest road, the area of the Ellbogen (899 m) near Wildenthal is reached. On the descent down into the former hammer mill community through the valley of the Ehrethausbach, a short refreshing break is recommended in a Kneipp facility on an idyllic meadow. In Wildenthal there is the possibility to stop for a meal, naturally in a hammer mill tavern. Downstream through the romantic valley of the "Große Bockau", the ascent back to Eibenstock takes place at the Rektorwiesen.
