Discover the largest fruit-growing area in Saxony and taste regional products! Along the route, for example, Buch Monastery or small farm shops in Ablaß or Dürreweitzschen invite you to stop by.

In the middle of Saxony's largest fruit-growing region lies the Obstland cycle route, which winds as a circular route through the culturally and historically rich landscape. Over a total of 58 kilometers, it connects the towns of Mügeln, Leisnig, and Dürreweitzschen, where the long tradition of fruit growing can be experienced in different ways. While the focus in the Mügeln area is on the origin story of the Obstland, Leisnig highlights the past life and work of the monks, and in Dürreweitzschen you gain insights into the current production processes. The Obstland cycle route thus consists of three thematically different sections and can be cycled via the individual smaller stages or the outer large circular route.
