The seven-kilometer-long circular hiking trail is located in Neundorf - in the western part of the city of Plauen, adjacent to the Großer Weidenteich nature reserve.

The route mainly runs on forest and field paths as well as roads.

Attractions along the way: viewpoint Burgstättel (diabase hill), viewpoint Warthübel (466 m above sea level, diabase hill) and 19 m high water tower, viewpoint Taubenhübel (diabase hill) with rest area (pavilion), Unterneudorfer pond with weeping willow on island, Neuteich, playground and barbecue area on Querstraße (at the sports field), left of Schneckengrüner Straße start of the Großer Weidenteich nature reserve with connection to the Vogtland Mill Quarter as well as the Burgstein area
