The hiking trail is specifically aimed at families with children. The trail is certified according to DWV guidelines.

The circular hiking trail is dedicated to the theme of nature and offers children a high level of experiential value. The route is approximately 3.8 km long and includes 10 stations. A longer version of the route with two additional stations leads over the Schönbrunn district and extends the trail by about 700 m. This variant thus has a total length of about 4.5 km. During the hike, children learn interesting facts about the local forest animals, as well as the animal and cultural park in the city center of Bischofswerda. In addition, at the stations there are various opportunities for both young and old to practice balancing and jumping. Two stations have shelters, while others are equipped with seating.

A wild boar footprint logo marks the trail.
