Starting from the station area, we turn left and pass under the huge Löhnitzer Straße motorway bridge until about 100 meters further on we come across a bridge over the Zwickauer Mulde, which we cross and after another 100 meters turn right into Schlemaer Straße. We follow the road, which changes to Auer Talstraße from Bad Schlema. About 500 meters behind the huge spoil heap, which we pass on the left, we keep slightly right and pass the Bad Schlema station. We follow the main road. After just under 2 kilometers we cross the Zwickauer Mulde and from now on continue for another 3 kilometers always parallel and offset to the railway tracks. Shortly after the entrance to the town of Hartenstein we cross the railway tracks to the left and shortly afterwards reach the distinctive Stein Castle. We keep left behind the castle, cross the Zwickauer Mulde again and turn right again immediately after the bridge. We follow the road to the entrance to the village of Langenbach and first overcome a steep climb here. At the crest of the village we turn right into Wildenfelser Straße. After 500 meters we keep left in the right curve. We pass the allotment garden settlement on the left, follow the path and cross the railway tracks after about 3 kilometers, along which we now orient ourselves parallel. At the Wiesenburg stop we cross the tracks again to the left and shortly afterwards pass the station on the right towards Silberstraße. At the end of the T-junction at the sports ground, we turn left, cross the B 93 and continue straight ahead into Lindenallee, which turns into a gravel path up to the village of Haara. From here it goes downhill on the road to Wilkau-Haßlau under the motorway bridge. We follow the road and then turn right into Kirchberger Straße. After 300 meters we go straight ahead and thus leave the main road before the bridge over the Zwickauer Mulde. We keep to the railway tracks. Shortly before entering the town of Cainsdorf, we cross the tracks to the right and immediately turn left again without changing the Mulde side. From here on, we ride the Mulde promenade closely along the river into the heart of Zwickau.
