In the Leipzig region, the Mulde Cycle Path is a long-distance cycle route starting at Roßwein on the Freiburger Mulde via Döbeln and Colditz, where the river arm joins the Zwickauer Mulde, to Grimma.

The cycle path leads along the banks of the Mulde through varied landscapes and past majestic castles and palaces. In addition to the boot town of Döbeln and the Cistercian monastery Kloster Buch, you also pass Mildenstein Castle in Leisnig and the old town of Grimma is also well worth a visit. Due to its hilly terrain, the route is suitable for cyclists in good physical condition.
