Mückenberg (Komáří hůrka)
Viewpoint and Hotel Mückentürmchen (Komáří vížka)
Start at Hotel Lugsteinhof. Turn left onto clearing 30, at the weather station the border to the Czech Republic is crossed, at the golf course turn left onto the connecting road Moldava – Cinovec up to the pedestrian crossing on the extension of the B 170, through the Bohemian part of Zinnwald to the left onto the connecting road Cinovec – Fojtovice,
Past the church to the red trail marker, car park to the right into the forest on the ridge of the Eastern Ore Mountains. Follow the well-marked red trail through forest and meadow paths on the “Beer Trail” and pause briefly at the “Beer Rest”, shortly afterwards you reach an asphalt path and see to the left the Mückenberg (Komáří hůrka) with the viewpoint and Hotel Mückentürmchen (Komáří vížka). From there, there is a breathtaking view over the Bohemian Basin
The return route follows this asphalt hiking and cycling path until shortly after a dilapidated forester's house (approx. 4.5 kilometers from the Mückentürmchen), then turn right uphill to the new holiday homes of Cinovec, follow the signage to Hotel Pomezi, just before this hotel use the newly built pedestrian and ski bridge over the former E 55.
Leave the golf course to the left and return to the starting point.
