Mountain stream and thermal water

We follow the yellow-marked circular route downstream from the market (town hall tunnel). On the old stone bridge, it is worth looking up to the mighty gneiss rocks of the Wolkenstein Switzerland.

After crossing the B 101 at the mouth of the Heidelbach, we follow the creek to the former lime works. The flora of the mountain meadows changes due to different soil conditions. Over a ridge, the forest path leads down to the village of Hopfgarten and after crossing the river again, ascends back to the spa center Warmbad. Kurpark and Silver Spa Warmbad promise special experiences. After crossing the Hüttenbach valley, we reach the town center of Wolkenstein again via the initially steeply ascending spa road.
