This tour through the landscape of the Düben Heath is particularly suitable for health and active vacationers. In addition to the famous moor spa in Bad Düben, the bathing lake in Pressel, the natural swimming pool in Großwig and two 19th century windmills invite you to linger.

Bad Düben is famous as a spa town, where you can find rest, health and relaxation in the state-approved moor spa. The Luther Trail leads through the wonderful natural landscape of the Düben Heath to the idyllic village of Dreiheide, which is made up of three districts: Weidenhain - Großwig - Süptitz. Hikers can find refreshment at the bathing lake in Pressel, which is located next to a campsite, and at the natural swimming pool in Großwig. One of the most interesting sights is one of the oldest windmills in Germany, dating from 1840, which is located in Bad Düben. Situated between Wittenberg and Leipzig, Bad Düben was often a stopover for Luther and other reformers passing through. There is evidence that Luther visited the church in Süptitz, which was built in the 13th century, in 1535. Süptitz was a wine-growing region in the 16th century and the Elector sent Süptitz wine to Luther on several occasions.
