Königsbachtal in the Warmbad Wolkenstein network of terrain trails

Like the small forest ring, the Königsbachtalweg trail also starts at the information board between the Knappschaftsklinik and the Pawlow Hotel and leads north along Lindenallee to the Brandwald forest area. The hiking route initially leads leisurely along a grassy forest path on the side of the Königsbach stream down into the Königsbachtal valley, later descending steeply into the wild and romantic Zschopau valley. Not far from the bottom of the valley, a small stone bridge on the right allows you to cross the Königsbach. On the other bank of the stream, the path runs parallel back uphill. The diverse flora and fauna along this section of the trail make the walk a true nature experience. However, only sure-footed hikers with sturdy footwear are recommended.
