20-kilometer bike tour through the Moritzburg cultural landscape. It leads on slightly hilly terrain on forest and field paths. The bike tour is completely signposted in a clockwise direction. The start and finish point of the signposting is the station of the Lößnitzgrundbahn in Moritzburg.

The tour description starts at the station of the Lößnitzgrundbahn in Moritzburg. Cross Schlossallee into Schließerstrasse and continue to Kötzschenbrodaer Strasse in the district of "Eisenberg". Now cross Kötzschenbrodaer Straße and drive into Meißner Weg. You will now leave Moritzburg and can get a first impression of the small hilltop landscape. After about 1.5 km you will cross the S80 Auer-Moritzburg road. Now you have reached the Friedewald, a closed forest area between Moritzburg and Weinböhla. Follow the forest path to the "Unteren Altenteich". With a little luck you will see protected birds such as gray heron, white-tailed eagle and cormorant. Together with Zille- and Teichroute-Radweg you continue towards Bärwalde. Shortly before Bärwalde you reach open terrain and can let your gaze wander over the small hilltop landscape to the foothills of the Lusatian Mountains. Passing the Bärwalde church, you will take a side road with little traffic to Berbisdorf with its church and moated castle. Follow the path next to the small river Promnitz and cross the Berbisdorf main road. The cycle path from the end of Berbisdorf brings you to Bärnsdorf. At the entrance to the village you will cross the tracks of the historic "Lößnitzgrundbahn", which has connected Radebeul with Radeburg since 1884. The "Teichwirtschaft Bärnsdorf" breeds carp, pike-perch, pike, perch, tench and sturgeon in the 22 Moritzburg fish ponds. In Bärnsdorf turn right into Cunnertswalder Straße and drive about 1km. Behind the weekend settlement turn right to Fasanenschlösschen. You cross the tracks of the "Lößnitzgrundbahn" and after another 500m you reach the dam over the Großteich. This dam divides the Großteich and was only built in 1910 in favor of better conditions for fish farming. In the period around 1780, the Great Pond was several times the venue of large courtly "lake festivals", during which the Russian-Turkish naval battle at the Dardanelles was re-enacted. Plan a detour and time to visit the historic Pheasant Garden with Pheasant Castle, Great Pond and Lighthouse. Continue on the Großteich-Rundweg, past the "Curfürstliche Waldschänke "and continue on the Kleine Fasanenstraße. About 100m before the parking lot at Radeburger Straße turn left, then turn right and drive through Emil-Höhne-Straße until you reach August-Bebel-Straße. Here you follow the signs through a one-way street, cross Käthe-Kollwitz-Platz at Schlossallee and turn left into Bahnhofstraße. After 500 meters you will reach the starting point at Moritzburg train station.

Note: In wet weather, the forest and field path tour sections may have poor path quality.
