In the Flöha valley to Olbernhau

Vom Hotel aus nach rechts bis Lengefeld, durch den Markt zur Kirche, hinter der Kirche auf Oederaner Straße Lengefeld verlassen, vorbei an Schloß Rauenstein, über die Flöha, Bahnbrücke, dann rechts zur Saidenbachtalsperre, entlang der Talsperre nach Forchheim, üvia Hutha to Hallbach, turn right onto Dorfstrasse, at the crossroads turn left onto Dorfstrasse, Alte Pfaffenroder Strasse, continue on a dirt road to Pfaffroda, cross the B101, onto "Am Schafhübel" to Olbernhau.(Visit the Saigerhütte monument complex). After crossing the Flöha, first left, then right on Blumenauer Straße to Blumenau, Sorgau, to Pockau, continue towards Lengefeld, at the first houses turn left onto an unpaved path (crossroads), then a concrete road (where you can enjoy another wonderful panoramic view) past a small rest area with a fountain, then continue along a sandy path to the Kalkwerk museum. Turn right onto the main road, take the next path immediately to the right, then keep right at the fork in the road and you can easily get back to the hotel.
