A wonderful tour from Hartmannsdorf to Hirschenstein past evidence of electoral rule and mining. Duration approx. 2h 30min.

Once in Rödeltal, walk from the parking lot at Landhof Hartmannsdorf by the information board in the direction of Hirschensteinstraße (formerly Fürstenweg). Once you reach the forest, take the first turn-off in an easterly direction. On the short ascent to Schurichtweg, there are boundary stones with a crown on the right and left, which refer to the electoral ownership of the Hartmannsdorf forest. Once you reach the Schurichtweg, continue in a southerly direction until you reach the Fürstenweg. Here the route climbs again towards Lindenau. At 610.4m above sea level, we have reached the highest mountain in the district of Zwickau on the Hirschenstein. After a successful descent over the long wing, we head towards Schurichtweg. We want to return to Hartmannsdorf and continue in a westerly direction. In the village, it is worth making a detour to the church "St. Johannes Enthauptung" with the forester's lodge and the Peter Breuer altar, which depicts St. Barbara.
