Hike up Görlitz's local mountain Landeskrone (420 m above sea level) with impressive viewpoints and a monument.

Görlitz's local mountain Landeskrone (420 m above sea level) is located directly on the long-distance hiking trail of German unity (Blue Dot). The Landeskrone has been a nature reserve since 1953. There are many information boards along the paths that provide information about the flora and fauna of the mountain. The access road takes you to Lindenallee. Take the steps and continue along the road towards the summit, passing the hexagonal basalt columns that are typical of the region.
From the top of the mountain, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the town, Lake Berzdorf and the ridges of the Zittau, Jizera and Giant Mountains. The Jeschken/Ještěd with its futuristic lookout tower and the summit of the Schneekoppe/Śnieżka/Sněžka can be seen on a clear day. Not far from the summit is a monument, the Bismarck Tower. From here you have a beautiful view of Lake Berzdorf.
