The Hochwald is, at 749 m, the second highest lookout mountain in the Zittauer Gebirge. It is characterized by a north and south summit. The border to the Czech Republic runs over the viewing plateau.

The Hochwald Tower has been one of the excursion destinations in Upper Lusatia since 1892.

Away from city noise and the ever-growing everyday stress, just go for a hike, enjoy nature and relax.

At 749m above sea level you will find the highest observation tower in Upper Lusatia.
