Flöhatalweg
The hike takes you uphill from the Flöhatalweg to Grünhainichen. You turn left and walk through mountain meadows with views into the Flöhatal. It continues to Börnichen to Schwarzmühle. Benches and tables invite you to take a relaxed break. You hike back a bit on this path to the "Swing Bridge" (now a wooden bridge). After crossing the bridge, you can choose to go left and via the ridge trail to Borstendorf (view of the village or to Augustusburg) or to the right. Here you pass through the district of Floßmühle, uphill in Borstendorf towards Kolonie Leubsdorf. At the forest, turn left into the chess hiking trail and return again in the valley cut to the station.

Dear hikers, dear guests,
Currently, due to severe bark beetle infestation, logging work is taking place in the forest area around the Fuchsturm in the Grünhainichen area.
As a result, some sections of forest and hiking trails have been affected. They are passable - please be attentive while walking.
They are currently unsuitable for cycling!
Please observe possible closures by the logging company.
This mainly affects a section of the yellow-marked hiking trail.
We ask for your understanding.
After completion of the logging work, the forest paths will be restored.

Hiking car park located opposite the Grünhainichen-Borstendorf station at the Borstendorf village entrance.
The parking spaces are free of charge.
Public transport connection by bus & train. Arriving at the Grünhainichen-Borstendorf train station with the Erzgebirgsbahn, signposts to the start of the hiking route can be seen opposite the station. The bus also has a stop at the station.
