You start at the railroad bridge and walk down the main road. Then turn left and follow the road to the stone cross. Continue downhill along the railroad line. Follow the path until you can cross the "Red Water" and then the railroad tracks. After approx. 200 m, turn onto the Leitenweg until the Hofeweg crosses, follow this uphill to the left and then continue straight on across the meadow until you reach the junction with the Kohlenweg. Stay on this path until you can turn right onto Dorfstraße in Oberlöwenhain. In the sharp right-hand bend, follow the Tradel-Jäpel-Weg straight ahead and continue to Lindenallee. Keep left until the end of the road. Then turn right to the water supply elevated tank. Follow the path. Now turn right onto the stepped path. Walk along this to the Sommerweg, turn left and then right at an acute angle. Cross the Pfarrwasser and continue along the Wiesenweg to the sports field. Once there, you reach the Talrandweg, which you follow to the left. After approx. 250 m you cross a bridge and then Zinnwalder Straße. Turn left and then right towards Aschergraben. Follow the Viehtrifftweg until you can turn left uphill to the Aschergraben. At the top, turn right and follow this to the right in the direction of Altenberg. At the next but one junction, you will reach the historic Geisinger bobsleigh run. Now head downhill to the "Alte Straße". After a short time, take the Goldhahnweg to the left and return to Altenberger Straße and the starting point.
