  • Destination: Augustusburg OT Grünberg, Falkenauer Straße (car wash, above the Kuhstall)
  • Easy
  • 6,26 km

  • 300 m

The wooded route, which is also suitable for smaller children, has the Hetzdorfer Viaduct as an intermediate destination halfway along the way - a former railway bridge over the Flöhatal and with over 40 m in height and a total of 17 arches an impressive masterpiece of old stonemasonry and bridge building art.

On forest and field paths, which are mostly wide and easily walkable, the route goes uphill and downhill.

The route is not continuously suitable for strollers! For strollers, please refer to the alternative route description.

Since there are no catering facilities on the way, packed lunch is recommended. A good picnic spot is a place at the Hetzdorfer Viaduct. There is a covered seating area at the Grünberg ponds on the main street.
