The Großfriesener circular hiking trail leads you with a length of about 7.3 kilometers from the district Reusa via Großfriesen back to the starting point - the final tram stop Reusa (line 4).
Enjoy nature and the wonderful views on the Großfriesen circular hiking trail. At the beginning, the path leads you past the Gondelteich Kleinfriesen. After passing under the Autobahn 72, you continue walking along the Friesenbach over forests and meadows. A rest area on the way invites you to a generous picnic.
Points of interest: Gondelteich Kleinfriesen, Kleinfriesener Str. 62 (below tram end stop), natural monument area, Froesigk spring meadow with an arranged pond and very high biodiversity, rest area in the forest, in Großfriesen pond "Cold Frog" with rest area and beautiful panoramic views over Plauen
Note:
The bridge at Gondelteich is currently being renovated. This means that the Großfriesener circular hiking trail cannot be used as usual from mid-November 2024 until approximately April/May 2025.
