The approximately 80 km long hike has much worth seeing to offer:

- Observation tower "Drei Brüder Höhe"

- Museum of the Saxon-Bohemian Ore Mountains

- Old Court (good view)

- Moor nature trail Stengelhaide

- Hirtstein with basalt fan (national geotope)

- Hassberg

- Lauschhübel

- Lehmhaider pond

- Steinhübel

- Vogeltoffel rock (near Hüttstattmühle)

- Morgensternhöhe with war memorial and good rest area

- Silbermann organ and serpentinite museum in Zöblitz

- Löwenkopffelsen in Zöblitz

- Castle ruins in Niederlauterstein

- Fortified church Lauterbach

- Visitor mine Pferdegöpel in Lauta

Accommodation options are sufficiently available but should be reserved stage-wise before the hike. In most towns, there is good food service. It is advisable to plan ahead here as well.
