Cross-country skiing route with beautiful views of the Pöhlberg, Ehrenfriedersdorf, and the Ore Mountains ridge.
The cross-country ski trail runs partly over an open field with beautiful views of the Pöhlberg, Ehrenfriedersdorf, and the Ore Mountains ridge, but also through the snowy winter forest. A short steep hill at Staudtfeld and a long, flatter ascent/descent make the route moderately difficult. If you include a detour to the evangelical-methodist church, the circular trail becomes challenging due to the additional elevation to overcome and offers good training for ambitious recreational athletes.
