The starting point of the route is the mouth of the Fuchsbach into the Weiße Elster near the Märchenwald. At the main signpost - direction Fuchsmühle, continue straight ahead to Endschütz - hold right through the village - outside Endschütz, turn right at the road fork - pass Letzendorf and the warehouse to Wolfersdorf - turn left at the pond. Now follow the signs on the local connecting roads to Gauern and Braunichswalde. A visit to the Heimatstube Braunichswalde should be planned.
Continue towards Vogelgesang - crossing the L 1081 - straight ahead to Großpillingsdorf. Here this route meets the "Rund um Ronneburg" route. We stay left and ride on the local connecting roads from Großpillingsdorf to Nischwitz, then to Haselbach, Rückersdorf, Paitzdorf, and on to Ronneburg. Arrival in Ronneburg at the city park. You should allow some extra time for visiting Ronneburg's sights.
Turn left onto the foot/cycle path through the park - cross Friedrichstraße and continue straight onto Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße - turn left onto Baderteichdamm - right onto Hainberg. Before the traffic island on Weidaer Straße, turn right into Hainstraße towards Neue Landschaft® Ronneburg - turn left onto Grobsdorfer Straße - after approx. 350 m turn right towards Thränitz - after approx. 2 km turn left off the road into a forest path and follow it along the railway line to Collismühle. At a sharp angle, turn left uphill - over a level crossing to Kaimberg - follow the signs through the village - turn left uphill at the Freibad Kaimberg - through Poris-Lengefeld - in Alt-Taubenpreskeln left to Gera-Liebschwitz - downhill onto Salzstraße - left - after approx. 50 m turn right onto a cycle/footpath - along the Wipsebach to the main road, cross it and take a foot/cycle path along the Weiße Elster towards Wünschendorf.
Here we ride the "Elsterradweg". Follow the parallel signs of the Elsterradweg through Meilitz, Wünschendorf, the MärchenwaldWünschendorf to the starting point of the route.
