Information and tips at the Neuhausen tourist information office. Number 3 of the Neuhausen hiking booklet

"Hiking stories of salt and water" is the name given to this moderately difficult hike, which is recommended as a day tour due to its diversity. It offers scenic sections, historical information, places of interest, playgrounds and plenty of opportunities to stop and rest. It leads along the "Old Salt Road" long-distance trade route past the "Schwemmteich" pond, where the sheep of the "Große Vorwerk" were once driven to be washed and "washed out". Via the Kreztanne, you will reach the Rauschenbach dam, which will tell you more recent "water stories".
