The approximately 56-kilometre-long Forester's Trail runs right through the Düben Heath Nature Park from Doberschütz in Saxony to Bergwitz in Saxony-Anhalt.
The Foresters' Trail owes its name to the traditional forestry industry, which has had a lasting influence on the landscape to the right and left of the trail. From charcoal burning to the most modern forestry tasks, the route offers numerous exciting insights into the work of foresters from the past to the present. The hike through shady forests, across light forest meadows, through heathland and moorland can be completed without any particular physical exertion and offers plenty of variety on three stages with its exciting nature experiences. Small villages and inns along the way invite you to take a break.
