Explorer route and adventure hike between Eibenstock and Sosa; passing Saxony's largest waterfall near Blauenthal (also a geocaching route); child-friendly

Many information boards accompany the hiker on the way from Eibenstock (640 m/amsl) down to the Große Bockau valley (470 m/amsl) and back up to Sosa (640 m/amsl). The initially paved path becomes an idyllic trail in the forest, runs along a historic water ditch to Saxony's largest waterfall near Blauenthal (halfway). Passing ponds, gardens, a fallow deer enclosure and an enclosed forest spring with a Kneipp basin, a historic mining tunnel is reached and finally at the edge of the forest a magnificent panoramic view of Sosa.
