East ring in the Warmbad Wolkenstein network of terrain trails

The Ostring route starts at the hiking map between the Knappschaftsklinik and the Pawlow Hotel. The route leads along Lindenallee out of town to Brandwald and then turns right at Königsbach to Warmbadstraße. After a short stretch along the hiking trail towards Großolbersdorf, you reach the Warmbad youth hostel. Passing the hostel on the right, the Ostring leads along a somewhat impassable dirt track to Villa Anna. Walk along the fenced property into the palm tree forest. An idyllic path leads around the old mining dump of the palm tree pit. The change from the gloomy spruce forest to the light lowlands is not only a pleasure for keen hikers, the partly open terrain with wide views will enchant everyone. The trail leaves the forest via the Hilmersdorfer Bach stream and takes you across the meadow in front of the flood retention basin to Warmbadstraße, crosses it and, passing the Pawlow Hotel, returns to the starting point of the loop.
