An e-bike route from Oberwiesenthal to the idyllic natural swimming pool of Rittersgrün! Between two active parts on the bike, you can wonderfully refresh yourself in the cool water.
The route leads from Oberwiesenthal along the Erzgebirge ridge to Rittersgrün.
The route is shady and mostly runs through wooded areas. Usually, a cool breeze blows.
Once you arrive in Rittersgrün, you can wonderfully refresh yourself in the natural swimming pool and then cycle back.
The tour is quite demanding because you have to manage your battery for both the outbound and return journey and cannot always power at full support.
It is recommended to ride in a more intensive mode on the outbound trip and save the power for the return journey (mostly uphill).
Important: pack water and snacks. There is no kiosk at the outdoor pool.
Admission is affordable. The pool is always open in summer when the weather is suitable.
