Discovery tour on the nature trail

You start the tour at the Erzgebirgsbahn stop in the Floßmühle district. Walk upstream on the Flöhatal hiking trail. At the former "Vogelmühle" mill, turn left into the Röthenbach forest. After approx. 500 m, you will discover the nature trail with the small and large wonders of the local flora and fauna. Panels explain medicinal plants or, for example, the large burrow of the wood ants. Water wheels along the course of the stream offer plenty of variety. Halfway along the trail, you will find a shelter, a water treading pool and a path of the senses where you can feel the different surfaces barefoot. Once you reach Reifländer Straße, the trail leads back into the Flöhatal valley to the starting point or along the Flöhatalweg trail to the Lengefeld-Rauenstein stop.
