The yellow Reiterlein route is currently the most difficult, though not the longest, of the Reiterlein cycling routes. It is the only one passing through the Czech neighbors’ area and is only partially suitable for families. The starting point is Gessingplatz. From Grünthal the route goes to Brandov, via Kalek to Rübenau and Ansprung further to Grundau and back to Blumenau and Olbernhau. Like all Reiterlein routes, public roads are mostly avoided so that cyclists rarely face motor vehicle traffic. The route is marked with a yellow Olbernhau Reiterlein and the tour partner is Seiffener Volkskunst e.G. On the section between Blumenau and Olbernhau, the route parallels the green and red routes and is marked there with a blue Olbernhau Reiterlein. The tour partner here is Stadtwerke Olbernhau GmbH.
