Scenic circular cycling route along the Mulde from Grimma and its districts to Wurzen and back.

The Saxon Burgenland is known for its extraordinary cultural and natural landscape. Along the Mulde cycle path lie historic town centers as well as sturdy castles, impressive palaces, and worthwhile museums. As in fast forward, a cycling trip around Grimma offers an experience of 1,000 years of Saxon history. Three special mills around Höfgen provide insight into the almost forgotten milling technology. The Water Mill Museum with the overshot water wheel, the ship mill as the last of its kind in Germany, and the post mill in nearby Schkorditz.
