The "Grünes Reiterlein" cycle tour is the easiest of the Reiterlein cycle tours. It mostly leads along paths away from public roads and is therefore particularly suitable for families. The starting point is Gessingplatz, but the starting point can be varied as desired. The tour leads via Blumenau, Kleinneuschönberg - past the "old school", now the Kleinneuschönberg youth center - to Hallbach and Hutha. From here you have a wonderful view of Olbernhau and the Flöha valley. The route continues to Pfaffroda, past the Bierwiesenteich pond and the castle with its park and courtyard pond, straight on to Schönfeld, where it then follows the old post road back to Olbernhau. The tour partner for this tour is the Hotel Saigerhütte Olbernhau-Grünthal.
