Significant parks and castles line its route, such as the Baroque castle in Rammenau, the historic castle park in Großharthau, and the Seifersdorf Valley, one of the earliest and most famous landscape gardens in Germany. Stolpen Castle can also be reached via this route. In Bischofswerda, the Carl-Lohse Gallery with changing exhibitions invites visitors.

Starting from the three starting points Stolpen, Elstra, and Seifersdorf Valley, a total of 26 stations can be visited. The route mainly runs on paved roads, interrupted only by natural forest paths in the Luchsenburg forest area. This is also where the highest elevation of the route is, which otherwise includes no longer climbs.

The cultural route is approximately 70 km long including all branches and runs mostly on paved roads. The route is easy. The detour to Elstra via the Luchsenburg is recommended only for experienced cyclists. The stretch from Seifersdorf Valley via Pulsnitz, Rammenau, and Bischofswerda to Stolpen is ideal for family outings.

Premium stations on the route include the Seifersdorf Valley and Seifersdorf Castle, the local history museum in Ohorn, the Baroque castle in Rammenau, the animal and cultural park in Bischofswerda, the experiential museum "Old Stone Saw" in Demitz-Thumitz, and Stolpen Castle.
